The development of Arches was led by the Getty Conservation Institute and World Monuments Fund.
Technical assistance and advice was provided by English Heritage, the Flanders Heritage Agency, and the City of Los Angeles.
The initial version of Arches was developed as open source software by Farallon Geographics, Inc.
